Gibson SJ-200s
This is a special pair of guitars. This pair of Gibson SJ-200s was purchased new in 1953 by two brothers who happened to be twins. They played recreationally for years but took exceptionally good care of the guitars so that today they are in remarkably clean condition and 100% original. Each Instrument has it's original case (also in excellent + condition) and one of the two has it's original retail hang tag. And the kicker…they are consecutive serial numbers. The guitars have been together since new in '53. They came in to the shop for some simple repair and setup work, and they are without doubt two of the cleanest guitars from the 50s that I have ever seen. After the repairs were done the guitars were sold as a pair through the shop. Enjoy the pics!
